The Gathering Church of Christ is part of a church planting network called Kairos.
"Kairos" (Greek for “time”) is a network directed by Dr. Stan Granberg alongside his wife Gena and staff. Kairos exists to recruit, equip and support ministers like us to plant brand-new churches of Christ so more people may come to know Christ. Their motto is: “New churches in new places for new people.”

According to George Barna, the U.S. is home to nearly 100 million unchurched people. Every year, more than 3,500 churches close their doors. Less than 30% of 20-30-year-olds attend church. Perhaps we remember hearing that, “One day, America will be a mission field.” That time is now!
If you attend church anywhere — then you attend a church plant. There was obviously a time when kingdom pioneers had a vision which gave birth to the congregations that now bless so many of us. We believe that this is God’s appointed time to do so again.
